'American Idol': Ryan Seacrest answers 'Idol' questions on 'Ellen'

"American Idol" host Ryan Seacrest stopped by "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" to answer a few burning "Idol" questions.An audience member asks Ryan what's going on between him and Simon. He laughs, "We're roommates." He then says this year he has better access to the judges' bench.
He also says that during commercial breaks the judges go outside -- Ellen reveals that Simon smokes and they just hang out. We can assure you that is exactly what happens. Our theory is that there's a magic Skee Ball game backstage that the judges play.
Tonight the Season 9 Idols take the stage for Lennon/McCartney night and then Wednesday, April 7 Rihanna and David Archuleta perform at the results show.
