'American Idol': A didgeridoo meets 'Come Together' and Crystal Bowersox

What's a didgeridoo? Crystal Bowersox showed one off during her "American Idol" Beatles week performance of "Come Together."A didgeridoo is defined as "a musical instrument of Australian Aborigines made from a long wooden tube that is blown into to create a low drone."
Crystal Bowersox and Rickey Minor and the band managed to find a didgeridoo for Crystal's performance of "Come Together." You mean the band didn't just have a didgeridoo player on hand? What?!
Turns out the didgeridoo player is a freelancer named Ernie. Just how does one get into freelance didgeridoo playing? We have no idea. It certainly added an eclectic element to Crystal's performance, but we still thought this was one of her weaker offerings on the show. What do you think?

Her comments regarding Danny Gokey will cost her any chance of winning. Bowersox has become this season's Lambert. She'll get to second and lose to whomever she's up against. Already religious radio stations are commenting on her slur of Gokey and their shared views. This broad can't keep her foot out of her mouth.
She doesn't have a chance in hades of winning. She doesn't deserve it either with her stinking attitude.
Crystal has amazing talent. I love to hear her sing!
Was this supposed to be Lennon/McCartney night or obscure musical instruments night? I thought the didgeridoo and the bagpipes did nothing but distract me from their singing. Maybe we'll see Big Mike sing with Japanese taiko drums in the future! LOL
I thought Casey, Crystal and TIM(!) were the best of the night. I would like to think that Andrew would be going home tomorrow after his flat and forgettable performance, but I think he has a large fan base. Maybe Aaron is in trouble???
I thought this was another phenomenal performance! I've been a fan since day one! Go Mama!
Katie sang well enough to hopefully pluck herself out of Bottom 3.
Disconnect between the judges and 6 of us watching, plus 2 watching on DVR when they could tear their eyes from the NCAA game.
Most disliked "Big Mike", he hit some vocals but half the song and ALL of his interaction after was the same phony cheesiness.
Crystal and Casey were solid. Lee was good but underwhelming.
Tim was better than expected.
And everyone watching, inc, two Crystal fans, all thought Siobhan was dazzling. It was a stripped down, slow, but gorgeous and controlled singing performance of "Across the Universe". She also looked gorgeous. And emotionally connected with most of us during the song and showing herself and her feelings when talking to the panel.
Heck of a comeback.
Bottom 3? Aaron, Andrew, and Tim. I hope Garcia gets one more shot and doesn't go home.
Bowersox was ill, in case no one noticed. I think given that she was sick, she did more than great.
She has a wonderful attitude and is probably the most talented of the singers. I think she's unique and interesting, and hope she wins.
Eh Phil, you do realize that Andrew and Lee both resemble Gokey right?
We are witnessing the future American Idol with this Girl. I predict a STAR! This girl exudes a something very special, something almost on a spiritual level. I can only see her soar to where ever it is she wants to go musically. I will support her endevors wholeheartedly. I am a Fan.. I am sold on this little girl! I think she is just incredible. Nobody has captured me the way this girl has.. There is just something so earthy and pure and real about her. She is modest, and seeminly unaware of her greatness... I really want to hear more from her..... This is only my opinion... but it's all I'm worth! I will definately buy any of her future artistic recordings..
I was talking about Crystal Bowersox by the way... I'm sold. In my opinion she has already won...
