'The Hangover's' Rachael Harris joins TBS' 'My Boys,' Jim Gaffigan exits
Zap2it hit the set of TBS' "My Boys" this week and was pleasantly surprised to witness the presence of the hilarious Rachael Harris ("The Hangover," "Reno 911," "Notes from the Underbelly").Harris will make her "My Boys" debut towards the end of the fourth season which premieres Sunday, July 25.
She'll be playing Mike's (Jamie Kaler) love interest, Marcia, who meets him at Andy's (Jim Gaffigan) suburban home.
Gaffigan has opted to exit "My Boys" and concentrate on his stand up career this year. His character will be written out with a move overseas, which of course leaves the door open for Mike to masquerade as a grown man who owns his own four-bedroom pad.
But apparently this Marcia chick digs that kind of trickery, because she seems to be sticking around.
We like Harris. So we're cool with that.

No Jim Gaffigan might mean no Carrie. His character is one of the best things about that show. :(
ehh, gaffigan is awesome, but he was an extraneous part of this show. i'd rather see him on stage. my boys will be fine.
I'm extremely bummed. Jim Gaffigan is one of the main reasons I watch "My Boys." I love Jim...and bacon.
Yeah, I'm not happy about this, either. But you sort of saw the writing on the wall towards the end of last year. Gaffigan wasn't in a lot of episodes, and it's probably more cost-effective for him to be on tour.
Although I thought TBS said it wasn't premiering until the fall. Weird.
Boo! I will miss Jim...he's one of the best parts of the show!
I am too bummed about this Gaffigan's character on the show was funny. Although, for the past season he wasn't utilize very much. I kind of knew he was out because he was doing a lot stand up across the country. I saw him in baltimore last year. I guess he figured he'd make more money touring and doing small movie roles. Maybe he will comeback in a cameo role later. I am not a huge Raechel Harris fan.
