'The Good Wife': Josh Charles hints at office romance
According to Josh Charles, things are about to get even more personal for "The Good Wife."That may be hard to believe about CBS' Tuesday drama that revolves around lawyer and jilted political spouse Alicia Florrick (recent Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Award winner Julianna Margulies), but a deeper involvement between her and her boss - and former law-school-mate -- Will Gardner (Charles) is very possible in the string of new episodes that starts on Tuesday, Mar. 2.
"I don't think anybody thought that was all the show was about," Charles tells Zap2it of the series springboard that sent Alicia's ex-State Attorney husband (Chris Noth) to prison for on-the-job missteps. "You have a rich group of characters and a wonderful ensemble of actors, and I think it was always the intention to watch these people wrestle with the moral consequences of their choices."
Some of those may come, and soon, from closer ties between Will and Alicia. Former "Sports Night" co-star Charles notes the co-workers have "a complicated bond" because of their past as well as their present, "and it's been fun to explore that. She's married, and [the show's writers and producers] have taken their time with it; it's very subtle, and we start to see it rise a little bit. It'll be fun to see how that plays to the audience. You can't do it too fast."

Oh can't wait! I love Alicia/Will.
Alicia and Will = the show could get way more interesting, and it's already pretty interesting. I'm all for it!
Will and Alicia? I hope not. Alicia and the female private eye? (I can never remember her name.) Now THAT would be a combination.
This show should not be called a legal drama. There is nothing real about any of the story lines. It's a shame that people rally think it reflects how lawyers do their job.
get a grip A. Lawyer - it's a TV show not a documentary. we want to be etertained and The Good Wife is good television!
Hey How You Doinggg?
I hope they play with the Alicia and Will story line but don't do anything too drastic with them because I think that would bring the show down a little.
Also, for those saying it's a legal drama it's not really. Julianna once said it's not called "The Good Lawyer" it's called "The Good Wife" therefore it's main focus is going to be on a personal level with the characters.
I agree with IDK.
I really love Alicia and Will, more than Alicia and Peter. I hope that writers do a good job. I root for them
Such a well written t.v. show and I love the characters. The hour flys by and I usually can't sit and watch t.v. for that long because none of the shows can hold me for an hour.
I hope it stays on for as long as it stays fresh.
