Seth MacFarlane, Alex Borstein cause trouble, spill on possible new show
We're not entirely sure what the fine folks at PaleyFest were expecting from the "Seth MacFarlane & Friends" panelists when they honored his harem of shows this week, but what they got was drinking on stage, sex jokes, impersonations of everyone from William Shatner to Adam West amongst other various shenanigans.
And it was hysterical.
Seriously, if you ever have the chance to see any of the people behind "Family Guy," "American Dad" or "The Cleveland Show" live, take advantage.
We briefly caught up with Seth MacFarlane right before he headed into the panel and it took him no time at all to have a little fun at our expense.
And then our camera died, so that sucked.
Good thing he started with the funny almost immediately...
MacFarlane, however, did behave (sort of) during the panel. But his onscreen wife Alex Borstein wasn't quite as good. We can't repeat the vast majority of what she said on stage, but we did talk with her beforehand about the rumors that she's going to be the lead of Seth's next animated series.
"I'm embarrassed because that news got out because of me having too many drinks at the FOX TCAs, because nothing's in stone yet," Borstein says in the clip below. "But yes, I'm working very hard with another gentleman named Gary Janetti to develop a female animated show to fall into the FOX lineup, so that is definitely at the top of my wish list."
She also has a fun -- and totally nerdy -- idea for how the network will fit so many Seth MacFarlane shows on one night...

YEAH finally dump the simpsons. its been on long enough and it can now go to making a movie every few years. this is the age of seth. let him have 8-10 on sun nights to all his shows. although the cleveland show is kinda weak im sure fox wont have the balls to cancel another one of his shows again as it would make bad business.

Seth MacFarlane is by far an awesome actor and comedian, and now that I have Sling technology with DISH Network, I never miss any of his shows. I live a very busy life and I use my iPhone to see his shows while on my lunch break at work. Being that I am an employee and customer of DISH I can’t recommend the TV Everywhere feature enough to anyone with a busy lifestyle, thanks DISH!
Alex Borestain is a **** comedian and an ugly fat jew *****. I will never forgive her for what she did on Mad TV and if life were just she would never be on anything ever again after that abortion of a sketch comedy crap show. Nobody on Mad TV was funny and the only reason she does good on Family Guy is cause we don't have to see her annoying **** face on screen. Catwoman anyone?
