Rosie O'Donnell plans return to daytime TV

Rosie O'Donnell is returning to the daytime talk show game.According to Showbiz 411, O'Donnell is teaming with veteran syndicated show producers Dick Robertson and Scott Carlin to launch another daytime show, hopefully in the fall of 2011.
A fall 2011 launch would coincide with the exit of Oprah Winfrey from ABC's daytime schedule, as Winfrey is leaving to launch to her OWN network.
This isn't the first time O'Donnell has worked with Robertson and Carlin, as they helped launched her self-titled talk show. Robertson actually helmed the project for its entire six-year run.
Between the success of "The Rosie O'Donnell Show," which won numerous daytime Emmys during its time on the air, and Rosie's one-year foray into "The View" a few years ago, she should be an easy frontrunner to talk over Winfrey's slot at ABC.

I am glad to see Rosie is going to do another talk show! I miss her old show! She is the best at what she does! It looks like we are in for a good time, Rosie always has good taste in music, and I am sure we will see Johnny Weir on her show! Rosie has great taste!

I don't know, I have nothing against her, but if she was into doing this, she never should have quit her old show in the first place.
Her niche in the daytime talk world has been filled by Ellen and Bonnie Hunt, both of whom I like better and would hate to see either be squeezed out by a returning bigger name who can't make up her mind (Ellen's pretty bulletproof by now, so Bonnie would be the one more likely to suffer, and I'd rather not see that happen).
As I said, I don't hate Rosie at all, but I don't see a big need for a revival of her show.
I loved Rosie's show. I hated her on 'The View.' She just seemed so nasty and miserable as a person. And this is coming from a person who is gay and shares her political views. Just tone it down, girl.
