Paul Schneider leaving 'Parks and Recreation'?
Is Paul Schneider (Mark Brendanawicz) saying peace out to Pawnee?Though NBC has yet to confirm anything, several solid sources tell KTV that Schneider is set to exit "Parks and Recreation."
Schneider's character Mark is dating Rashida Jones' character this season, but he hasn't been given too much else to do as of late.
And with the recent cast additions of Rob Lowe and Adam Scott, one would assume that there will be even less room in upcoming story lines.
So, thoughts?
As a fan of both "P&R" and Paul, I'll be sorry to see Mark go.
Perhaps he'll pop in as a guest star sometime?
Any guesses on how the show might write him out?

Well this just sucks.
I think this will be disappointing if true. While Anne(Ann?) hasn't had much of a storyline lately, I think Paul is good as the level headed character, and adds a lot in that regard. If Rob Lowe is replacing Paul that is really too bad, because I just can't see how he will fit in on the show.
Honestly, better him than any other character, IMHO. I nearly had a heart attack until I read it was Schneider leaving. If they tried to get rid of RON SWANSON, I'd ... explode!

Well I don't care too much about Mark. But I do care about April. who is Marks daughter. so what will happen to April if her dad leaves?
I think Adam Scott will be a welcome addition but Rob Lowe is just a hanger-on, jumping from established series to established series since he can't seem jump start one on his own since leaving West Wing. Schneider is a great straight man on Parks & Rec, which doesn't have too many so it would be a shame to see him go.

I like Paul Schneider and he is good in the role. And, lets face it. Mark Brendanawicz is just fun to say. Rob Lowe has no place on this show, although Adam Scott would fit right in. But why do they need more characters anyway? They've got plenty.
This show is on a roll and the whole cast clicks nicely.. Now they have to ruin it by losing a great character and adding two new ones that might ruin the show.. Rob Lowe is a prima donna and will complain if he does not get enought to do and Adam Scott was already on a show I love (Party Down).. stop messin with the sows that work!
