The WHAT..?? Oscar should change its name to MORON. I'm totally - and utterly - DISGUSTED. For a bunch of socalled Creative people to show their Prejudice and deny the fact that AVATAR is more than just Creative - it is UNIQUE - and it raises the Bar of movie making. That The Hurt Locker is - probably - a good - or even great - movie, is NOT the issue - but it's good in the NORMAL sense of movie making. Whereas AVATAR is Different - its Creative, Imaginary, and above all - UNIQUE. And they should be able to accept - and admit to that fact. That they don't shows you how small-minded & vicious little creatures they are - So, now its official - Hollywood is nothing more than political and screwed up. I really expected better.
