Who didn't love Beverly Cleary's Ramona Quimby books as a kid? Usually we're wary of our childhood favorites being turned into movies, but this new trailer for "Ramona and Beezus" actually looks pretty awesome. In addition to Disney starlet Selena Gomez as Beezus and adorable newbie Joey King as Ramona, the film boasts some of our favorite stars: Sandra Oh, Josh Duhamel, Ginnifer Goodwin, Bridget Moynahan, and John Corbett.
After catching the trailer for the first time, Selena Gomez tweeted: "Just finished watching the full trailer for Ramona and Beezus and nearly cried, I can't believe it's coming soon."

I loved ALL of Beverly Cleary's books as a kid, "Ribsy" was my favorite and I'd still read these today if in the mood (they're still on my bookshelf).
The focus here should be on Joey King and not Selena Gomez... these stories are about or center on Ramona. Beezus is not the star/lead character. And by the looks of this trailer Joey is cute and a great Ramona... hopefully we'll see more of her in years to come in various TV or movie projects.
