Miley Cyrus picks 'American Idol' faves on 'Leno'

The singer-actress covered a lot of ground on "The Tonight Show" Thursday night (March 25), discussing her stint on "American Idol," meeting and kissing her boyfriend Liam Hemsworth on "The Last Song" and the ending of "Hannah Montana."
In the first clip, Cyrus told Jay Leno about her thoughts on mentoring and performing on "American Idol" and what she thinks about judge Simon Cowell. She also picks her two favorite contestants. Since she's a 17-year-old girl, picking Casey James was a no-brainer, but who was her other choice?

I think Miley was a fine idea for Idol.
Bucked up the ratings for AI, helped introduce herself to 24 million people - came off as instantly likable.
In turn, it was clear she took right away to Casey, Aaron, and Siobhan. Lynche too, perhaps, though he was blatantly sucking up.
I expected to hear her say Casey was going to have success but was slightly surprised when she picked Siobhan over Crystal. But I think her instincts might be good. Crystal is a finished product. The two she picked are gems in the rough with talent, sweetness, and appealing looks and interesting personalities.
Crassly, they might be the ones that Miley thinks might have the biggest audiences and commercial success. Cyrus has sold 15 million albums and made 10s of millions more on her show and concerts. Her picking them means something.
I think that she is a little girl alot of talent and if you hate on her then dont watch and dont post comments that little girls see you all need love she is amazing and what do you haters do for a living? talk about others hmmmm
She just redeemed herself in my eyes by picking Siobhan.
