'Lost' reveals series finale title

cuse-lindelof-lost-320.jpg"Lost" executive producers Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindelof have announced the title for the show's series finale on May 23. Spoilerphobes may want to click away, but the title doesn't really tell us anything we don't already know.

"We couldn't make a more clear statement as to the fact that we're bringing our story to a close," Cuse said in this week's "Lost" podcast.

So are you ready to read it (or, if you're not, last chance to click away)? Here goes.

The series finale will be called "The End." As we said, not much to be gleaned from that other than it's the last episode, which we already knew.

"The End" is scheduled to air Sunday, May 23.

This is The End, my friend...I'll never look into yur eyes.....again....

Well, THIS is something nobody can really argue about. :)

Wait, it's on a Sunday?

At least we know what we're getting =)

Ahhh man, they totally spoiled it! Now we know exactly what's going to happen...

It's a plot to drive us crazy (and it's working!)

Other titles considered:

--You're still watching this sh*t?

--Finally, the (nonexistent) answers!

and

--Proof (at long last) that we weren't making this up as we went along (not really)!

"It only ends once. Everything before that is just progress." Hence,"The End." Pull your head out of your a$$, the title is perfect.

I can't wait!!

Says it all. What else needs to be said? Can't wait.
