Johnny Weir to rock Indie Spirit Awards red carpet, Oscars and 'meggings'

Johnny Weir wowed the 2010 Winter Olympics with his short figure skating routine, partly due to his skilled performance, partly due to that saucy pink tassel.

The pop star on ice will take that style to the red carpet at the 25th Annual Spirit Awards Friday night (March 5) to represent the Sundance Channel, which airs his reality show "Be Good Johnny Weir."

In an interview with Zap2it, Weir revealed that celebrity stylist Rachel Zoe helped put together his Viktor & Rolf outfit consisting of a casual skinny jean and "some bling." Sounds great, but no unitard?

Weir's been studying up on his film stars as well, so he can ID everyone on the carpet. Sir Elton John, however, won't need any introduction, and Weir has a special greeting in store for the legendary musician.

The reality star also discussed what he'll be wearing to the Oscars, his definition of "meggings" and which star he'd love to play him in a movie.

See if you can spot Weir at the 2010 Spirit Awards airing live and uncensored beginning at 11 p.m. ET/ 8 p.m. PT on IFC. Two days later, the Oscars will broadcast live from Hollywood on Sunday, March 7 on ABC.
