'Jersey Shore' Season 2 production kicks off in South Beach, reports say
Have you missed the juiced up, fist-pumping, antics of the "Jersey Shore" crew? If so, we have good news. Not only is the crew launching today's annual MTV Spring Break programming with Spring Break 2010: Fist Pumpin' Top 20, but also reportedly production on the trashtastic Season 2 starts today (March 20).
While MTV has been a grenade about any information as to the location of Season 2, the local media have been doing some creeping.
According to The Miami Herald, MTV's shooting paperwork have been approved by their City Hall. Additionally, MTV has been dropping requests to film the "Jersey Shore" cast in South Beach clubs and bars.
The Miami Herald's timing coincided with Radaronline.com sources, who told the site that the crew have been informed that shooting begins today.
The site's sources also say that the guidos and guidettes are taking blood tests and securing passports. That could mean an island version of their Atlantic City getaway from Season 1. You know, about 2/3 through the season when all the locals want to beat them up on sight after all their juiced up antics. That's when it's time to bounce for a few days and let the town's torches go out.
It will be interesting to see how they get through this season after the notoriety of Season 1. After all, no one knew Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi from any other "Garfield" on the boardwalk back then.

I personally think that the show is quite entertaining. Last time i checked Jersey Shore was one of the most watched in all of TV history, so yeah i think that it is media worthy.

Y'all please be aware that Jersey Shore needs to realize that some of us (ME) refer to them as GUIDIBRATS. Jerseylicious shares the tag GUIDIBRATS. This is coming from an original Jersey Girl. Can't get any more Jersey Girl than Jersey City, dontcha know.
