'Fringe': You Ask, I Answer on flashbacks, William Bell, Olivia and Peter

josh-jackson-fringe-320.jpg"Fringe" is about to return with new episodes, but to bridge the gap between then and now, we're answering some of your burning questions...

Olivia knows about Peter! Is she gonna tell him the truth?! -Meg
Olivia knows that Peter is from the alternate universe, but she isn't quite sure what to do with that information. Can you blame her? It is kind of a lot to process. But, before she makes any decisions, Walter takes it upon himself to try and explain what happened all those years ago.

"Fringe"... Anything. This hiatus is killing me. Don't let me explode like something on the show. -Dee
Most of the April 1 episode is a flashback, and many of the big questions you've had about Peter will be answered. We're also getting answers re: Nina's arm, William Bell and, of course, a whole crop of new queries will be raised. Oh, and if John Noble (Walter) doesn't get Emmy recognition this year, we may have to boycott.

Peter and Olivia are going on a date!! Will we see them actually finish that kiss they started? -Kate
Sorry, but when the show comes back, we won't know whether they actually went on that date. Even worse? Joshua Jackson is MIA the entire first hour back. Yeah, it hurt us too...

I kinda need Peter's character to get me through an episode of Fringe. There was a lot of questions about where Josh would fit in this, but a whole episode without him? I'm suddenly not looking forward to this episode as much as I was before :/

Peter's not in THE WHOLE EPISODE? So that probably also means no Broyles, Astrid and possibly Nina (older Nina). It kinda sucks, especially when there's an episode called "Peter" and our Peter doesn't even appear in it (or gets to hear his origin, but that's another story entirely).

I have to agree with the first poster, without Josh I'm not as enthused for the first episode back anymore.

Wow. I didn't think he would be in it all that much, since it's about younger Peter. However, still thought he would be in it. Yes, I don't think I'm enthused about it as much either.

Secondly, so obviously they dropped the whole going out thing then. No reference at all to it, that's Fringe for you.

I love Josh Jackson's Peter as much as the next viewer, but if his not being a part of an episode that's all about his origins, I think I can live with that quite well. In fact, I would imagine it will be a testament to the writers giving us one amazing episode.

He's gone for the entire first hour!! T_T

Stop whining peeps! He will be there again in the second hour. and the third. and all the way till the end of the season. I can't wait to see what happened in his younger years. It's about time we get some background on the characters in this show...

I'm sad not to see Peter's character, but I'm still enthusiastic about the episode because it is about Peter...why he's important, how he got here, what happened to the original Peter? All, or most, of our questions will be answered about Peter so I'm happy.

I think people are missing the point about why people are not happy about Josh being in it. The episode is titled Peter, so it's about his character. It just seems weird to have him not in his own episode. Anyway, that's my interpretation.

I think everybody, including the so called whiners will just be glad to have some background info on why alt Peter is here. Hopefully alot of questions will be answered in this episode, since it is has been so long coming.

Donna, if you have watched the show, you would realize that Peter is the one the audience keeps saying doesn't do anything and when an episode is centered on his character, Josh is not even in it. I mean come on, you can have an episode centered on a particular character but have the others have their own storyline.

Despite it answering our questions, people already know the answers since some of them are psychic and know everything. Which ruins the importance of those answers.
