'Fringe' renewed for third season
More fringe science and parallel universe conundrums are coming. The science fiction drama "Fringe" has been renewed for a third season, a FOX publicist confirms to Zap2it.
The show, which returns to finish up its second season on April 1, has averaged around 7.6 million viewers this season.
"Fringe" centers on an FBI team that uses "fringe" science to investigate odd and disturbing occurrences worldwide.
When last we left the team, Agent Olivia Dunham (Anna Torv) had returned from an alternate universe and regained a special ability from childhood that allows her to uncover a surprising secret about Peter Bishop (Joshua Jackson)

SWEET!!!!!
Yipeeee!
I'm sure some will bemoan the fact that a relatively-low-rated show is being renewed against all logic, but hey...I like the show, so meh. I used to like a show back in the 80s called Tales of the Gold Monkey, and NOBODY watched that show. At least Fringe will get a third season, whereas Gold Monkey got about, oh, seven episodes.
Hooray!!! Best news ever I was worried fox was not going to renew this gem. As it was on the bubble for so long and they were thinking it was between lie to me and this show getting a season.

WOO! That's so great! :D
Crud, sorry for the double post.
thank you fox!!!
Best news ever!!!! Thanks FOX to renew one of the best shows on TV right now!!
Bravo Fox!! John Noble's brilliant and sensitive portrayal of the complex "Walter Bishop" is alone worth watching (and saving) this show. It's criminal that he hasn't been nominated for an Emmy!!
