"FlashForward's" Sonya Walger will have a new man in her life.
James Callis, known to "Battlestar Galactica" fans as Gaius Baltar, joins the ABC sci fi show as a "strange guy" who possibly helps or hinders Walger's character, Dr. Olivia Benford.
A quick refresher: Olivia, along with everybody else in the world, lost consciousness for 2 minutes 17 seconds, during which she had a "flashforward" vision of her future on April 29. Being happily married to FBI agent Mark Benford (Joseph Fiennes), Olivia is understandably upset that her vision featured her having rather tender feelings for a man she's never met. Later, she runs into that man, Lloyd Simcoe (Jack Davenport), and gets reluctantly pulled into his life until he's seen getting taken away by force.
So how does Callis fit into Olivia's story?
Check out what Walger told Zap2it during visit to the "FlashForward" set on Thursday (March 11):
I can't wait for this show to return!! Hopefully the fans will also return and it doesn't tank because it's been gone so long.
It could really be a replacement for Lost if people give it a chance.
Callis great as Baltar/Head Baltar on BSG. Hopefully his character on FF will be as well written for him to perform.
