'FlashForward' promises answers, Gil Bellows, blown minds
Since we last saw "FlashForward" on ABC, the show has gone through a change in showrunners, banked a number of episodes and, according to executive producer Jessika Borsiczky, really figured out where it wants to go in the second half of the season. When the show returns at 8 p.m. ET Thursday (March 18), it will begin a drive both to catch up with the April 29 that was in everyone's blackout visions and delve deeper into the characters' lives. The second half of the season, she says, is about "Can you fight your fate, do you want to fight your fate, and is the very act of fighting your fate going to make it come true?
"The biggest difference coming back is, I think we're going to have a lot more fun answering questions," says Borsiczky, who took over as showrunner after co-creator David Goyer departed to work on several movie projects (Lisa Zwerling and Tim Lee are the show's head writers).
"It's romantic, it's deeper on a character level, and we're definitely having more fun answering questions," she adds. "When you do a show that's this complicated and that has this many characters ... there's always going to be a little bit of a learning curve. We saw for ourselves some of the things we wanted to do more or less of, and this second half [of the season] is a beneficiary of that."
John Cho, who plays FBI agent Demetri Noh, says in the clip below that he's been surprised to see where the show is headed: "It goes in directions I didn't see it going ... but it's also resolving in a way I didn't see coming." Watch the clip, and keep reading for more on what's coming.

I am really really afraid they are going to ruin the show -- it was perfect the way it was, so I can't really see how any of the changes will be for the better.
Hopefully enough people will watch this show, personally, i already bought the dvd of the first half of the season. This show needs to be at least 3 seasons, i will watch tonight.I love this show and i think that it deserves a second chance, but thats just me.
It's always hilarious when producers have to say: "This time we really know where we want to go with it..."
Of course, the guilty parties are Brannon Braga and David Goyer.
Braga incidentally was rewarded for producing a show that made no sense by getting a big development deal.
Apparently FOX, which gave him the deal did not realize he had created a show without a sense of where it was going...
As for David Goyer, the idea that he left in mid-season because he suddenly decided to go make more bad movies is ludicrous...
I love Flashforward!
It gives me something interesting to look forward to on the tube each week.
Oddly, I had a bit of a hard time warming up to it, at first, but when they put all 10 episodes of the first season online (it was on HULU, I think), I watched all 10 hours in two sittings and couldn't wait for each new episode as it came!
It's a brilliant story and Joseph Finnes is so easy on the eyes and good to watch!
Please keep this one which creates a thinking atmosphere and sparks the mind, rather than "V" which is just a retread of a series done before, even if the lead actress is a very attractive woman.
