First look: Julianne Moore back on 'As the World Turns'

Julianne Moore has filmed her cameo appearance on "As the World Turns," and we have visual evidence to prove it.
Moore's return to the long-running CBS soap will air Monday, April 5, the network announced Thursday (March 18). She'll reprise her character of Frannie Hughes, who returns to Oakdale for her father and stepmother's anniversary party.
Moore played Frannie (and her half-sister Sabrina) on "ATWT" from 1985-88, winning a Daytime Emmy for the role in her final year on the show. She's since gone on to a movie career that includes four Oscar nominations and a half-dozen Golden Globe nods, including one this year for her work in "A Single Man."
"As the World Turns" will end its 54-year run on CBS later this year.

I appreciate the fact that she would be willing to revisit the show that helped start her career, especially since it is wrapping up in a few months. That is really great.
Very cool of her to return and pay her respects. I have her first month on ATWT on DVD and she was GREAT from day one!
so cool of her to return before the show ends. She's one former soap star who can truly be PROUD. her characters are legendary and made a huge impact on daytime. she didn't simply appear on a soap, she was a STAR.
Julianne is one classy lady. Her cameo on the show that started her career is one fine deed on her part.
