'Dancing With the Stars': Brooke Burke lands co-host gig

Brooke Burke, the seventh-season champion of "Dancing With the Stars," has won more than a disco ball trophy from the show.The TV personality has landed the coveted role of co-host on the show, Tom Bergeron announced on "Good Morning America" Monday (March 8).
Burke herself posted on her Twitter feed, "I'm so excited to be returning to the DWTS family."
She's stepping into the backstage spot left by Samantha Harris. In February, Zap2it previously reported the Burke was a finalist for the position, along with "The Bachelor" woman scorned Melissa Rycroft.
Burke is a good choice considering her background in front of the camera. She's hosted the travel series "Wild On!" and both "Rock Star: INXS" and "Rock Star: Supernove." As a winner on the show, she'll have a unique insight into what the contestants are enduring.
The 10th season of "Dancing With the Stars" debuts on Monday, March 22 on ABC.

she could be a good choice...i like melissa but she is still a little stiff...but anyone would be better than samantha...she is uncomfortable to watch and has crazy eyes and asked the stupidest questions.
Melissa is really good at being a finalist....

I'm surprised anyone thought it would be anyone other than Brooke Burke.
I am also a little surprise, it even made me recall what may be her qualifications, but I think she will do a very good job. After all, judges should be different.
I think Melissa with all her energy and cute smile would have been the right choice, for the co-host job.its time for fresh faces on the show.Melissa would be perfect , i think brook seems to phoney and not real ,Melissa has a way abt her that says " hi i am glad your here"i wish they would reconsider their choice.
