'Brothers & Sisters' renewed for a fifth season
Media outlets have been reporting the rumors for a few days, but Zap2it knew it was still only rumor. Now, we feel certain enough to report that "Brothers & Sisters" has indeed been renewed for a fifth season.
While ABC won't officially confirm, Zap2it's sources tell us the show has been picked up and the official announcement will be made soon.
Another on-set source tells us that the actors have been excited about the rumors, but not even they have been told officially that the show has been renewed.
It will be fascinating to see how the writers deal with Rob Lowe's departure and, of course, there's still chatter that another character will be killed off before this season ends.
"It will be fireworks," our on-set source tells us about the episode in which Robert McCallister says goodbye. He says that fans will not be disappointed.

Please kill off Kitty - she's annoying as hec, Sorry no Ally McBeal redux here, I loved Calista Flockhart as Ally McBeal. They really need to kind of overhaul this character. I just can't stand watching her. I do rather enjoy her and the Buffy character (Cheryl Hines)though and I'm looking forward to the April episode when B&S visits the Walkers past (their younger selves).
Thrilled. This and "Modern Family" are my two must-sees for the week! Glad the Walkers are back!

It's time to dump Calista.
Her character is whiny and annoying and she brings down the whole ensemble.
I'm glad Rob Lowe is going too.
He is wasted here.
They won't let Calista go now that she has recovered from her cancer. Nah!
