'American Idol's' Sanjaya Malakar busted for speeding

What's your hurry, Sanjaya?

The Season 6 "American Idol" finalist Sanjaya Malakar was ticketed for speeding Tuesday morning (March 23) in Kirkland, Washington, reports "Extra."

Get this, the "Vote for the Worst" favorite had a case of leadfoot because he was zipping along at a whopping 110 mph on Intestate 405. That's 50 mph over the posted speed limit. Maybe he wanted to feel his ponyhawk ripple in the wind?  

Luckily, since this occurred at 2:30 a.m., no one else was on the freeway so Malakar won't be facing a reckless driving charge. Instead, he got a $411 speeding ticket.

Malakar, 20, was also on the second season of "I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here!"
