'American Idol': Diddy set to perform on elimination show

Diddy has tweeted that he's "American Idol" bound.

On Thursday (March 25), Diddy shared the following on Twitter:

@iamdiddy: Live on the American Idol stage, its the D.I.D.D.Y.. Its Diddy!! Next Wed March 31st!! Tune in folks!! RT Pls.

The music mogul will use the "Idol" stage to promote "Hello, Good Morning" (featuring T.I.) from his new album, "Last Train to Paris."

Diddy's elimination show appearance follows Tuesday's R&B/Soul theme, where Usher will mentor the aspiring Idols.
