'30 Rock's' Tracy Morgan returns to 'Scare Tactics'
Want to hear something scary? Tracy Morgan will go behind the cameras at Syfy.No, he's not the director of "Sharktopus" (we wish!). The "30 Rock" comedian will return as host of Syfy's "Scare Tactics" in addition to wearing an executive producer's hat for the fourth season that will air in the fall.
The hidden camera reality series allows friends and loved ones to target their "victims" and place them in situations that play on their biggest fears, made possible by movie-style special effects and makeup.
The "Scare Tactics" news is just one of Syfy's many announcements Tuesday (March 16) at the New York upfront, including:
- "Sanctuary" began production on Season 3 in Vancouver on March 15.
- "Destination Truth" has been renewed for a fourth season.
- "Ghost Hunters International" will add Scott Tepperman as a new cast member
- "Ghost Hunters Academy" will be a reality competition series.
- "Haven" and "Being Human" will be new scripted series.
- Thursday nights will be devoted to a reality block beginning Thursday, July 15
- "Top Chef" contestant Marcel Vigneron and other real-life personalities are developing reality series at Syfy.

Scare Tactics is extremely funny especially since Tracy Morgan is the host. His funny is different than being scripted he's more of a genuine, I don't know what I'm doing funny. I think that's what I admire about him and the fact that I've been following him for some time adds to the love that I have for him. I think he is by far the best host for the show and I can't wait for the new season to come out in the fall. I work and subscribe to DISH Network and I watch this show and every other show on this channel with the Google TV! Another great attribute to it is the keyboard, it can be setup to function your TV and your receiver so you will never have to worry about using a remote again. It's worked flawless for me and I am always recommending that people check out DISH Network and I am inviting anyone who comes across this post to explore the endless possibilities with DISH Network and experience a value unseen by any other TV provider!
