Twitpic of the Week: 'Parks and Recreation' suits up Andy Samberg

"Parks and Recreation" has unmasked its new park ranger.

Or more accurately, Aziz Ansari has. The "Parks and Rec" star wins for Zap2it's favorite Twitpic of the Week for posting a photo of himself and Andy Samberg on the set of the NBC sitcom.

Even better? Samberg is in costume, sporting his stylish yet practical khaki park ranger uniform.

Samberg will play Park Ranger Carl, the head of security for Pawnee's parks. When a resident is attacked on his watch, he butts heads with Leslie (Amy Poehler).

We're kind of hoping, but we're not holding our breaths, for a little musical interlude during the episode since Samberg has created some of favorite shorts from "Saturday Night Live" in recent years.

Park Ranger Carl is tentatively scheduled to make his "Parks and Rec" debut on Thursday, March 18.
