Tiger Woods' apology: Worth the fuss?
Tiger Woods' first public statement since his life went sideways on Thanksgiving was the story of the morning Friday (Feb. 19), dominating coverage not just on sports channels but also on cable and network news. What we'd like to know from you is: Was it worth all that? We'll grant that Woods is among the four of five most famous athletes in the world, and that fact coupled with the details of his downward spiral -- the numerous affairs, the weird Thanksgiving-night car accident and his relative silence save for a few statements on his web site -- have stoked huge interest in what he'd have to say on Friday.
But did the 13-minute apology/statement warrant the extensive coverage it got outside the sports media? And are you buying what Woods had to say?
Watch the video and give us your thoughts in the comments.

Not worth my time nor do I give a crap. I had the satisfaction of turning the channel!!
It was pointless, there are more important things in this world than a man's affairs.
...And all the people judging this guy, as if we ALL didn't have moments of shame in our lives. Come on, really?
Tiger Woods YAWN
Hats off. We're only human. To err- human. Forgive- divine. Move on. It's about time, anyways.
Worth the fuss? I say it took alot of guts for him to come out with this. He admitted he has been a dirt bag. It takes a man to do that. Now he has to back it up.
The press conference doesn't change anything for me personally, but admitting guilt is the first step in a long journey to get back his squeaky-clean persona for his general-audience sponsors ($$$). Tiger's still a cheater but that should only be a concern to his family. Now, if he starts cheating at golf, then that's when the fans should have a voice that matters.
no and definitely no.
Oh this is so not worth the fuss in any way, shape or form!
One word...REHEARSED and oh yes, phony baloney as well.
