'The Deep End': Which series regular should be cast elsewhere first?
ABC's legal dramedy "The Deep End" will air its final episode Thursday night (Feb. 25), and though it hasn't been officially abandoned by the network, chances are we won't be seeing the series again.
The numbers haven't been great and the writing is decent, but the cast includes a lot of stellar talent that shouldn't go down with this sinking ship.
Yeah, that's right Billy Zane, that was a shout-out to you, "Titanic" man.
Now that Zane has come to American television, wouldn't you like to see him stick around?
And what about the rest of the cast?
Matt Long from the fabulous-but-gone-too-soon series "Jack & Bobby" deserves a vehicle of his own. I could also see him getting a solid guest starring role on "Brothers & Sisters" too. Or maybe "Grey's Anatomy" creator Shonda Rhimes would allow him to stop by Seattle Grace?
Tina Majorino was a stand out on "Veronica Mars" and "Big Love." It would be great to see her back on "BL," but even better to celebrate her being cast on a show that can give her a more substantial part.
Mehcad Brooks' performance on "Desperate Housewives" was commendable, especially considering the wonky season two storyline he was thrust into, but his character on "True Blood" last year was nothing short of fantastic and definitely memorable. This kid will continue to work, but the question is, when and in what?

I realy like this show and hope by some miracle it sticks around. Maybe on a different night, it would do better. This is a good show with a great young cast.

Mehcad Brooks would be a much better addition to Grey's than Jesse Williams. Mehcad can act. Williams is nothing but a so called pretty face who adds nothing to the show.
I think Tina Majorino is brilliant and will get something new soon but I voted for Ben Lawson because is sexy Liam is the reason why I watched this mediocre show!!! He's uber-sexy!!
I've said it for days, GET MATT LONG INTO A CW PILOT PRONTO. He is hotttt and a great actor.
There are any number of quality CW pilots still being cast (don't really know what's taking the frak so long).

I voted for Tina Majorino because I adore her, but I also really like this show and I think it has a fair amount of potential, so I would like to see it stick around.
That saying, Mehcad Brooks would be a great addition to Grey's and I would love to see more of Majorino on Big Love too.
That's pretty funny blaine! Jesse Williams is a star in the making. personality, acting talent and range from Sisterhood to Brooklyn's Finest to a Horror movie to Grey's Anatomy (a real HIT show). Mechad is okay. i'm not mad at him. great body. but it's not like he's blowing anybody away. to each his own. But Team Jesse is growing cRAZY FAST.
I really like this show. I think it has a great cast, they have great chemistry. I hope ABC gives it another chance. Maybe on a different night??
