'The Bachelor's' Melissa Rycroft joins 'ET'

Former "Bachelor" dumpee and "Dancing with the Stars" contestant Melissa Rycroft has joined the crew of "Entertainment Tonight."Rycroft's new gig began this week when she covered the recording of the "We Are the World" remake for the syndicated showbiz-news show. She'll be covering premieres, awards shows and other events in the future, People reports.
Rycroft, a former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader, thought she was engaged to Jason Mesnick at the end of "The Bachelor" last year, only to find out on the "After the Final Rose" special that Jason Mesnick changed his mind and wanted to be with Molly Malaney instead. She then competed on "Dancing with the Stars," finishing third in the spring 2009 season.
She's also filed pieces for ABC's "Good Morning America" as a special contributor and interviewed people in Times Square during the network's "New Year's Rockin' Eve" special.
Following her breakup with Mesnick, Rycroft got back together with her pre-"Bachelor" boyfriend, Tye Strickland. They got married in December.

I have had it with this Melissa. She's married now, so why does she want to stay in the limelight? She's annoying and self-serving. I really think she has a good part of the public fooled thinking she is a sweetie pie. After DWTS, I thought we would be rid of her, but no.......she and Deanna Pappas keep popping up. I'm so tired of both of them. Let them get their own careers out of television!!!
