'Supernatural' exec producer Sera Gamble talks season 6
"Supernatural" executive producer Sera Gamble assures fans of the show that she and her fellow writers have plenty of ideas for season 6."None of us are the slacker type who would just get up that morning and do a season," Gamble says in the video below. "We have been preparing for the possibility of season 6 pretty much this whole season, so we have a lot of ideas."
Now, this video was shot (by The CW Source) a few weeks ago, before The CW's Tuesday announcement that it had picked up the show for 2010-11, so you'll hear Gamble saying "if" a couple times. But in terms of where the story's going, she's as in the know as anyone -- and is likely to take over as showrunner next season when creator Eric Kripke (who'll stay on as an executive producer) hands over the day-to-day reins.
Take a gander at what Gamble has to say.

Hey Sera, please remember the Dean fans. I see that the wishlist for the Sam fans has been getting filled, to the point of demoting and sidelining Dean, again. Think you can at least remember the other fans who supported the show?
Shut up, Supernatural fangirls.
For the love of all that is good and holy and sane, SHUT UP.
Shut up, Dean fans.
Shut up, Sam fans.
Let the rest of us outside of the asylum watch the show in peace, you pack of sweaty harpies.
You are annoying and stupid and boring and probably rancid. Please go away.
this show is such a low ratted piece of flaming dung, if it was on any other network it would have been canceled long ago.nobody on this show can act if their life depended on it.
If you hate the show, then why did you read an article online about it? If you hate the show shouldn't you be avoiding it? Why waste your time by thinking, reading, and commenting about it?
In order to tell everyone what they ought to know: that the show jumped the shark last year.
Serugh Gamble. The Marti Toxin of Supernatural. BtVS turned into a flaming pile of poo when Marti was let loose to fulfill her Spike/Marsters fantasies on screen, same will happen to Supernatural with Serugh now free to indulge her Padalecki/Sam bias unfettered. No thanks. Not interested in her tunnel vision of Supernatural.
I second whoever said Sera Gamble is going to ruin the show. I'll just keep watching season 5 and then pretend season 6 is not happening.
theres so many mith things they could go i was maybe thinking of the son of the devil or they could go the whole direction of like the illumanti or jesus having a family can't think of that movie.
I hope they don't base the whole season on Sam. I like Jared Padalecki, but he is not the greatest actor in the world. Or on the show. When he's left to carry a scene, it always falls a little short.
All of the actors on Supernatural are great. Everyone has their hiccups in takes and sometime editors use the wrong cut. No actor is perfect.
And also you can't say that Sera is being Sam bias in season 5 as Kripke has still been in charge of it. There is a lot about Sam in season 5 but to be honest there needs to be because his dilemma is greater...he has the devil trying to find him for goodness sake.
Plus its also about Dean dealing with Sam's dilemma, not to mention the fact that Dean is hiding from Michael.
At the moment we don't know how Season 6 will turn out with Sera. But I still don't believe we should bag her out so early. After all she has been executive producing at least 45 eps to which I'm sure she has been under Kripke's wing and Kripke is still going to be around season 6, he just will be executive producer. She knows the show as well as Kripke does and better than we do. So leave her alone.
Enjoy the show for how awesome it is and stop thinking that you know what is best when you don't.
