Preview 'American Idol' judge Simon Cowell's 'Everybody Hurts' for Haiti relief
Listen to a preview of the Simon Cowell-produced remake of "Everybody Hurts" for Haiti relief."We Are the World" isn't the only famous song getting a reboot for Haiti relief. Simon Cowell is producing a star-studded remake of REM's 1991 hit "Everybody Hurts."
Stars on the recording include Leona Lewis, Cheryl Cole, Susan Boyle and Rod Stewart. It isn't quite the same undertaking as the "We Are the World" re-recording, but we actually like the song "Everybody Hurts" better, so it does have that going for it.
Regardless of which one you prefer, both singles' proceeds are going to help the people of Haiti, which is a great cause. "Everybody Hurts" will be available for download on Feb. 7.
