'Lost's' Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse: Thank you

lost-producers-video-320.jpgWe suspect that a lot of "Lost" fans will be saying "thanks" to showrunners Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse over the next few months. They wanted to return the favor.

"As corny as it sounds, we just want to say thank you," Lindelof told the L.A. Times' Showtracker blog at the "Lost" premiere last weekend in Hawaii. He talked about how nice it feels that people have stuck with the heavily serialized show through all of its ups and downs over five seasons.

"We're about to embark on the 106th hour of 'Lost' -- that anybody still cares, especially with this show; it's required a certain amount of patience and perseverance and faith," Lindelof says. "The hardest thing to have in anybody is faith, and the idea that people trust us to sort of not let us down is at times petrifying for us. ... But there are so many things people can spend their time on; the fact that they have chosen 'Lost' just makes us feel enormously grateful."

Video of Cuse and Lindelof talking with the LAT's Maria Elena Fernandez is below; the link above also includes several cast members talking about the final season. Enjoy.

Lost fans may trust Lindelof and Case not to let them down but it would be interesting to poll the shows viewers after to see if they feel let down. Not the hard core Losties. They wouldn't feel let down even if it's actually a delusion by Hurley. I'm guessing anyone who doesn't already thing this is the best show ever will be saying WTF when it ends.

You're Welcome!! :)

I think that LOST is vastly great and I have been a huge fan since day 1 despite who watches, LOST is creative, different , unique and paved the way for all the other shows you see on TV since then and those shows tried to copy the formula for LOST but never succeeded. SO like it or not, LOST revolutionized TV just like APPLE did to the computers and the smart digital world.

Lost showrunners Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse appeared on NPR to offer their DVD recommendations to Steve Inskeep.

No, thank you for providing the best show ever on television. I am sure nothing will ever surpass LOST on television once it is finished.

Those who watch LOST realize, simply, that it is the best series in TV history.

Those who complain about it are too stupid to tie their shoes and are probably hooked on Jersey Shore or Amer. Idol.

Thus, the have's and have-not's in today's society. The have's use their brain and earn a living. The have-not's are unemployed, collecting welfare and complaining about the world around them.

LOST is the clear dividing line.
