'Lost': Michael Emerson and Terry O'Quinn discuss Ben and Locke's demise
The long anticipated return of "Lost" is finally here as the series kicks off its final run Tuesday (Feb. 2).
In honor of the blessed event, KTV sat down with Michael Emerson (Ben Linus) and Terry O'Quinn (John Locke) to discuss -- among other things -- their characters' possible survival or demise.
"I think it would be fun to survive until very late in the game," Emerson muses in the clip below. "But I have to say, too, that I have already shot scenes this season [that are fantastic]. If they killed me off the show tomorrow, it's still a great season. I've got a couple of vintage Ben and John Locke scenes already in the can, so it's all good."
Indeed it's true, Locke and Ben apparently have some really good stuff together this year and the actors are hoping for even more.
Who will end up on top?, I wonder.
"Excellent question," Emerson says.
"I have a feeling, neither," O'Quinn chimes in.
But O'Quinn insists that he doesn't really care how his character goes out: "You want to have good scenes to play but I, at this point, just hope that the audience is satisfied. You know, that you close the last page of that book and you go, wow, that was great."
And will this last chapter of "Lost" be great?
Only time will tell, but Emerson reveals that halfway through the season, we'll still be in the dark about what the deal is. With just six episodes left to shoot, he says there are so many questions unanswered and that he has absolutely no clue as to how it will end.
See for yourself...
Oh, "Lost"...

Thoughts? Those two are made of awesome and should always work together.
Michael Emerson is a fantastic actor. You want to hate him so badly, but he makes you feel so sorry for him, that it's impossible to completely hate him. Terry O'Quinn is also a very talented actor. You cannot take your eyes off of him. For that matter, the whole cast is full of talent. I'm so thankful that they make me stayed glued to my TV set wanting more and more.
I'm hoping for a re-make of the Odd Couple, starring Locke 'n Linus.
Locke N Linus!! GENIUS!
I enjoyed The Stepfather- this was just as a great as the first. Dylan Walsh did a great job filling the shoes of Terry O'Quinn http://bit.ly/dicg8I
