Barton is a prostitute named Gladys who happens to be the lone survivor out of a string of murdered call girls. Mariska Hargitay's Detective Olivia Benson becomes emotionally invested in Gladys and is forced to make an uncomfortable choice.

I just wanted to comment on Mischa Barton, and her performance in the "Law and Order" drama; I think shes beautiful and she looks like she has alot to deal with inside, but on the outside shes beautiful and graceful and so talented. I love her for who she is and how shes coping is so mature, shes wise for her age.
Excellent portrayal of a very troubled woman. This is what acting is all about.I just hope that her agent reminds the powers that be of her fine acting talents when Emmy and Gloden globe time roll around.
