'Law & Order: SVU': Kathy Griffin kisses a girl
Kathy Griffin's "Law & Order: SVU" guest spot is here, and she gets some good face time with Mariska Hargitay.The "My Life on the D-List" star, usually known for her comedy, visits the gritty crime drama on Wednesday, March 3rd episode at 9 p.m. ET/PT on NBC.
The episode titled "P.C." revolves around a woman from a growing lesbian community who's been found bleeding from the neck. When she dies at the hospital, Det. Benson (Hargitay) and Stabler (Chris Meloni) investigate and come across the death metal band Vampyre Sacrifyce, whose lead singer bites girls and sings about violence to women.
Kathy Griffin plays Babs Duffy, a member of a lesbian rights group that believes the victim's death was a result of police neglect.
Here she is with Benson.
"The heart wants what the heart wants." We knew Griffin wasn't going to play this straight -- in more ways than one!

Regarding the headline, let's not and say we did, 'kay?
Here's a novel idea, let's watch a girl kiss a man. All of the Brit/Madge wannabe copycat crap is soooooo tired and played. And, speaking as a dude, I find it repulsive to see two women kissing. Give me two guys mackin' and we'll talk.
I find it repulsive to see women kiss men, so let's keep all that garbage off TV.
Men kissing men is MUCH nicer.
I vote for men kissing men and women kissing women and men kissing women. If you don't like what you see, change the channel or broaden your horizons.
Darn the video is not available anymore. Would have liked to have gotten a sneak peak before the show airs.
Boys kissing boys is hot for sure. There should be more of it on TV and in movies.
Why is this woman even on TV, she is hideous - she makes Paris Hilton look talented.
Wow! The lot of you commenters are even scarier than Griffin. And believe me, she's enough to scare the children!
I vote with Tom. Lets allow all forms of natural human expression. And praise to the SVU directing/acting/producing team for addressing this issues in the most accurate and responsible way I have ever seen on TV.
