I think it was set in 1954...
The book was weird enough.
Martin Scorsese didn't do Titanic. That was James Cameron who did Avatar. Just wanted to correct the information here. It looks very good and scary. But why was it shelved and its release date postponed three times already? Anybody know?
Can someone translate this for me? "'Shutter Island,' set in a remote asylum, brought in made money in its debut weekend." Is "made" money something different than regular money?
Mad money---I think--- a play on the crazy theme.
i saw Shutter Island last nite, of course Leonardo deserves an academy award for this, but the movie was not as exciting as i thought it would be, was too long.
huh?
I just saw Shutter Island and loved it. Not a thriller in the Halloween, Psycho sense of the word so yes it wasn't as exciting as sherrie would like. However what it lacked in excitement, it more than made up for in suspense, atmosphere, drama, and pure cinematic psychological thriller aspects. Loved it and would highly recommend it. A movie made that will make you think. Wow!!! What a concept.
