'Bones' Eugene Byrd: Hart Hanson doesn't give the black guy enough love

conlin-byrd-bones-320.jpg

"Bones"' Eugene Byrd (Clark Edison) has been around the Hollywood block.

You might recognize him from "Heroes," "Crossing Jordan" or -- if you're like me -- that one very special episode of "Beverly Hills, 90210" in which he played Vivica A. Fox's little brother.

But Byrd says in the clip below that when he gets recognized for "Bones," the reaction is always the same: "(Gasp) Omigod. Omigod omigod omigod omigod, I love that show... you're Clark! Are you ever gonna be nice? Are you ever gonna join those people and talk about things and be, you know, part of the family?"

On that subject, Byrd says we have to ask the writers, but he is hoping so.

He's also hoping show creator Hart Hanson will give the black guy some more love...

Oh, he kids...

YESSSS! More Clark! He is my favorite intern. I *like* that he doesn't want to discuss personal stuff on the job. HH, bring back Clark!

LOL! He's hilarious! I do agree that he needs to show more personality (Clark). I love his character! He's hilarious and such a good foil to the sometimes kooky Bones characters. Give him some love, Hart! :)

YESSSSS.
for me, it's much more significant when clark acts like one of the family, because he is so firmly entrenched in his idea of a completely separate work/family life.
the episode when he shares about his grandfather is one of my favourites, especially because the rest of the squints feel fully like a family and when clark acts so comfortably around him, they all get a little more glow-y

Damon Werth, former steroid taker and one-time mercenary is probably not the greatest witness in the world. And yet, a witness is exactly what he was with this "NCIS" case.

Eugen Byrd was great on Promised Land. The show was not popluar but I watched it and he is amazing !

I ADORE Clark! I like seeing him struggle to keep professional distance from the Squints but slowly crossing to the dark side and sharing with them.
