'Bones': 'American Idol's' Jordin Sparks no longer guesting
Bad news for Jordin Sparks fans who were dying to see their girl on "Bones" -- it ain't happening.After fans inquired when the former "American Idol" champ's episode would air, "Bones" creator Hart Hanson tweeted, "The Jordin Sparks deal did not make."
Personally, we're a little bummed out by this. Jordin seemed super excited when the news broke that she was going to be on the FOX drama.
We've reached out to FOX for confirmation, so stay tuned.
[UPDATE 1:59 P.M.: FOX has confirmed that Sparks will not appear on "Bones"]

Personally and honestly, I kinda gave up on Jordin a long time ago. Her career has gotten no where other than the hit single "No Air" and I used to be a big fan of her. Her newest lead single "Battlefield" was okay but the rest of the album wasn't good. She is a dying Idol flame and she needs to do something to get it back fast or she will extinguish like many others...
Well, that's a bummer.
Her 15 minutes are up.
I'm actually kind of thankful. We really don't need to have so many "big" celebrities (ie Fox people) on the show, as then it's not such a big thing when someone like Stephen Fry or Cyndi Lauper appears - they're actually special when they appear, so we don't need "Celebrity X on Bones!" every other week.
Jordin's career is far from over. She has 5 hit singles, many of which charted in the American Top 10 (This is My Now, Tattoo, No Air, One Step at a Time, Battlefield, and her most recent gave her a #1 - SOS Let The Music Play).
Her tours with Britney, Alicia Keys, Jonas Brothers and many endorsement deals (Got Milk, etc) have made her one of the Top 3 most successful Idol winners, only slightly after Kelly and Carrie. Although she might be primarily huge with the Jonas/Disney "tween" crowd, her career is far from a disappointment. What do you people want from her - Madonna and Lady GaGa-esque fame? Let's get real here.
