'American Idol': Taylor Hicks tells the Idols to 'believe in the music'

Taylor talks to FOX 6 about touring with "Grease" as the Teen Angel and then gets to perform a song from his album "The Distance."

He also has some advice for the "Idol" contestants: "If you have that vision and pick the right songs and sing well and you believe in the music" then they can be successful.

"The Distance" was released independently by Hicks on March 10, 2009. It debuted at #58 on the Billboard 200 chart and #5 on the Top Independent Albums chart.

Some great soul music from our man, Taylor Hicks. It is always great to see him performing, and hope he will get an even bigger role on Broadway. His tour performances have really added a great boost to the Grease production.
