'American Idol': Kimberly Caldwell's 'Mess of You' sneak peek

Kimberly Caldwell wants to share a bit of her first music video.

The "American Idol" finalist plays two roles in "Mess of You," which was shot in Hollywood's historic Roosevelt Hotel, reports USA Today.

There's "dating" Kimberly, who's in a relationship with a guy who's cheating on her, and then there's "protector" Kimberly, who's looking back on this relationship with more wisdom and clarity.

At times, the dual roles required that Kimberly be in two places at once, which meant hiring a body double.

"We gave her a wig, and we cut it into the side-mullet that I have right now," she tells the paper. "She had a little round nose, like I do, and no boobs. She was my height and my shoe size. She works out a lot, too, so we're both a little on the muscular side."
