'American Idol': Haeley Vaughn is Vote for the Worst pick

Vote for the Worst picked their "American Idol" female Tuesday night (Feb. 23) -- Haeley Vaughn.We don't really enjoy the fact that Vote for the Worst likes to keep the worst singers in the competition on "Idol," but it's always interesting to see who they are backing -- we don't always agree with them.
Unfortunately, we completely agree this week. Ellen DeGeneres was exactly right about poor, sweet Haeley Vaughn -- she was a hot mess Tuesday night. From the gaudy white outfit to the shrieking on "I Wanna Hold Your Hand," it was a rough performance.
Haeley and Janell Wheeler should both be very worried after their first performances, though Lacey Brown and even Ashley Rodriguez may also be in trouble.
Interestingly, we thought for sure Siobhan Magnus and Paige Miles would be in trouble last night, but they turned in two of the better performances (though Paige picked a terrible song).
The results show should be interesting Thursday night (Feb. 25).

That girl was all over the place. My mom liked it but I was wincing. I think if she gets her style under control and stops grinning like an idiot she might have a chance at redemption.
Alas, I think Haeley will be spared, at least for this week. Although Paige's performance was much better, she went first--when fewer people were watching--and had no prior exposure. Life isn't fair, but Paige is certainly one and done.
I loved Haeley's "I wanna Hold Your Hand" performance. I'm a 45yr old mom....is that what it takes?
Whats wrong with grinning?? Would you have liked her better if she stood there looking like a sour puss??? Haeley, clearly was enjoying being on stage. She delivered her performance with the radiance of an angel!! All these people that leave these negative comments really make me sick! I'd like to know how many of you out there actually know of any 16 year olds that could get up on that stage, sing in front of millions of people, sing with the ease and calmness that she projected, knowing Simon is listening?? I really admire this young lady for her uniqeness. Ms. Vaughn doesn't sound like anyone else in the final 20 and I think of several others that sound alot alike. Haeley Vaughn, I've got your back sweetie, and you've got my vote!
