Adam Lambert says he's doing 'The Tonight Show'
"American Idol" runner-up Adam Lambert will help welcome Jay Leno back to late night in March. The "upcoming events" section of Lambert's web site says he'll be performing his song "Music Again" on "The Tonight Show" Tuesday, March 2 -- Leno's second show back after the failed prime-time experiment and subsequent shakeout of NBC's lineup.
Lambert's bulletin follows reports this week that Jamie Foxx would be Leno's first guest on the new-old "Tonight Show" March 1. As was the case with Foxx, NBC isn't commenting about possible bookings.
Speaking of things old and new, NBC has unveiled its first promos for "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" 2.0. One that aired during Olympics coverage on Wednesday (Feb. 17) is a play on the Leno-at-10 spots the network ran before the start of the season (although we're guessing Conan O'Brien isn't laughing), and the other uses the Beatles' "Get Back." Take a look.
Will the Lambert news get you to tune in to "The Tonight Show"? What do you think of the promos?

luv the new ad, yes i will watch Lambert on the TS. YAY!
Nope. Bad move, Adam. Jay sucks and so does your first album, which was a waste of my money.
The only reason I will tune in is to see Adam Lambert perform. I have no love for Leno. I look forward to seeing Conan on another network.
Like Jay (he had the biggest ratings for late night when he was on the Tonight Show)
Love Adam and his music. Talented guy.
I can't wait for adam lambert to be on jay leno:D adam lambert rocks!!!!!
Way to go JAY!!!!! Adam has the most amazing voice in this generation!!!! Bring it on!!!!!
Jay's OK, but will surely tune in for Adam. His album is great, live performances greater, interviews intelligent, open, & honest, and he's hot & glittery!
Oh Janey, your agenda is SO transparent.
Absolutely I'll be watching for Adam. Forget Leno and Conan though. I want to see Adam banter with Craig Ferguson. THAT would be Epic.
Oops! I mean Roger...your phobia is showing. Sorry Janey.
Excellent news!! LOVE his eclectic CD. Different from other CDs out there that only have one 'flavor'.
