The Top 25 'Lost' Quotes Ever
As a person who deems himself eminently quotable, I enjoyed putting together a gallery of The Top 25 "Lost" Quotes. OK, maybe I'm not as quotable as luminaries such as Ben Linus, James Ford, and Hugo Reyes, but can they make as many unintentional typos as me? HA! I THOUGHT NOT!
A few quickies about the gallery before getting to the link:
I thought that trying to rank them from 25 - 1 seemed a bit silly. Of all the Top 25 galleries we've putting together in anticipation of Season 6, this seemed the most subjective. In addition, while there are a host of characters on the show, that number dwarfs in comparison to the sheer amount of dialogue produced on the show.
As such, the gallery is arranged chronologically according to episode. I've got quotes ranging from the "Pilot" episode through "The Incident." In addition, each page in the gallery links back to my full review of the episode in question in the "We Have to Go Back" gallery. We're full service around here.
I tried to balance lines that I thought were cool/funny/interesting/heartbreaking with those that are iconic. Some of the show's most famous lines are pretty prosaic, but take on added weight given their placement in the show's history. I also took into account your personal preferences in trying to balance what I thought were the best compared with what caught your personal fancy.
Finally: no Sawyer nicknames appear in the list. Sorry, y'all. To me, you could have a Top 25 Sawyer Nicknames list, and have fun with that, but rather than try to choose a favorite nickname and ignore the rest, I just bracketed those off entirely. Don't worry: Sawyer appears several times on the list. I think he's shirtless in at least one pic. So, you're welcome.

Left off because, while iconic, it's also ironic. Since it's pretty easy to tell him what to do, sadly. So I left it off. I expect a beating for it, but I had to stick by my instincts on that one.
Understand on the Locke quote...
Some quotes I didn't place as highly, and some I reconsidered given their inclusion. You could do a Top 25 quotes per season and still drop so many worthy choices.
I didn't initially consider it small enough to be a quote, but Henry's cereal conversation from The Whole Truth may have to be #1 for me. So chilling. Majorly jonesing for the Top 25 moments, and still working on my lists.
Nice list, that must have been hard. It would have been fun (but probably an unhappy amount of work for you) to have a couple categories (funny, serious, iconic, etc.) but you did a nice job balancing them.

I understand your reasoning, though I guess I would say that its irony might make it even more deserving, in my eyes. But nice list, considering all that wide-ranging material.
Fun list. So glad to see Desmond's "See ya in another life" and Ben's fickle b*tch quote (my faves). Also, happy to see Sawyer's "that's for taking the kid" quote. And Frank Lapidus' Guam quote is classic, you couldn't leave that one out! Hurley's mom's "dead Pakistani" quote was a nice surprise. As for leaving out said Locke quote, my gut agrees. :)
Favorite quotes, 9,12,20,21,23. This is not counting the intro slide as slide number one, it is counting the first slide with a quote as slide number one. So slide number 9 is the 10th slide in the slide show.
Ben's fate fickle ***** quote is a classic. Hurley's mom dead pakastanie was a nice surprise to see on this list but still hilarious.
I love hurley's parents. Also, having a list for the top 25 best Sawyer nicknames would be a great idea. I mean calling Jack metro, Hurley java the hut, shannon legs, and everytime he passes by nikki and pablo he would asks "who the hell are you people?"
And i forgot them now but i know he had some pretty funny and clever nicknames for locke and sun that he only used about once.
just going through and remembering these quotes was cool. moments will be epic sweet i think.
I'm sorry, but a top 25 LOST quote list that doesn't have Sawyer saying "Son Of A *****!" 25 times is a faulty list.
OK maybe Sawyer saying "SOAB!" once would be acceptable.
