The Onion gives 'Lost' fans a Dharma wedgie
Look, I like "Lost." OK, more than like. I love it. You love it. You love loving it. It's just one heaping help of love, day after day, here on the blog. But strange as it may seem, not everyone shares the sentiment. Some don't want to talk about the show whenever possible. Some people don't program their GPS to say, "We have to go back!" if they miss an exit. These people, frankly, are weird.
But apparently, those people think WE are the weird ones. I guess they look at us not unlike the way the survivors of Oceanic 815 view the Others. Just the fact that I made that comparison only solidifies the divide between the enlightened soul that is I and the fun-hating, soul-sucking, kitten-kicking folks on the other side. But apparently, The Onion falls into that category, having produced a faux news clip that pretty takes every "Lost" fan through the ringer. By the end, most hard-core "Lost" fans are going to feel worse than Jack Shephard did post-coital with Achara.
But hey, it's not like the following clip about annoying "Lost" fans applies to me. I mean, I don't do anything like they describe in this video, right?
Final Season Of 'Lost' Promises To Make Fans More Annoying Than Ever
OK, so the fact that I momentarily thought Damon Lindelof inserted The Valenzetti Equation into official canon means I'm EXACTLY the type of person described in this video. If you'll excuse me, I have to go apologize to my mother for trying to explain why pushing a button saves the world.
Did that video tickle your funny bone, or did it hit too close to home? Leave your thoughts below!
