'Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains': No. 20 Randy Bailey

randy-bailey-survivor-320.jpgZap2it handicaps the 20 returning contestants on "Survivor: Heroes vs Villains." Who's going home first? Villain Randy Bailey.

Disclaimer: We have no spoilers about the upcoming season of "Survivor." This is pure speculation based on the hundreds of hours spent watching the show.

On every season of "Survivor," somebody has to go home first and this time around it's Randy Bailey. Why Randy? Partly because of the theory that the Heroes tribe will do better than the Villains tribe, at least at first.

The Heroes tribe is returning some of the most well-liked cast members in "Survivor" history. Even the big personalities like Rupert and Amanda work relatively well with their own tribe members. In contrast, the Villains are going to have a situation of too many Chiefs, not enough Indians. The men on the Villains tribe have big personalities and like to be in charge. Add pushy Jerri Manthey, manipulative Parvati Shallow and cynical, scornful Courtney Yates to the mix and it means their initial Immunity Challenges are going to be a mess.

So, the first few Tribal Councils will feature the Villains. And who is likely to go home first? The person who rubs everyone the wrong way, can't socialize at all and wants to run the show. And that is Randy Bailey.

Bailey was a total jerk on "Survivor: Gabon," the 17th installment of the show. While other villains may have big personalities, they can at least be funny (Tyson) or charming (Rob) or pretty (Parvati). Randy is a crabby old man who alienates people and if he comes into the game bossing everybody around and acting like he knows best, his crabby butt will be on the first plane home.

Tomorrow: No. 19 Jerri Manthey

"Survivor: Heroes vs Villains" premieres Feb. 11 on CBS.

could not agree more. seeya randy

nothing funny about tyson--total loser

I disagree. Randy is annoying...but more of the slow grinding away at you annoying. He's also pretty good at staying in the loop. His problems come later in the game when individual relationships are key. I'd look for somebody like Sandra to go first if they lose. It will be interesting to see what sort of relationship Coach and Tyson have this season.

I'd have to second Dave. Sandra was protected by Ruppert through the first part of her season until she could solidify some allies and still was a dark horse winner. She hasn't played in a long time, though apparantly she looks great judging from her picture. But I'd lay money on her going if the villians lose.

Additionally, not sure I'd count on the villians losing. What made Rob a great player in the all stars season was his ability to, in some cases, almost single handedly win challenges, albeit against split tribes. His "villiany" comes from his willingness to get people to go along with anything he says without realizing that he is only going to keep his end as long as it's good for him.

Gawd, Rob Mariano again,
No thanks, Hasn't he wasted his 15 minutes of fame already? Apparently not according to CBS.
Will watch Vampire Diaries
instead.

Personally, I'm going under the assumption that the Heros will win the first couple of challenges, even though Rob is a strong competitor, the Heros have some of the toughest guys (James, J.T, Tom Colby and Rupert) and women (Steph, Amanda and even Candice has a solid run.) plus I can see them working much better in a team.
Though Randy I don't see going first, there is just no reason to get him out first. What I predict is that Russell will push for either Courtney or Sandra to get the boot and then go after BR.
