'So You Think You Can Dance': Mia Michaels is back

Choreographer Mia Michaels disappointed many a "So You Think You Can Dance" fan last fall -- not to mention the season six finalists -- when she decided to leave the series to pursue other projects.

However, her association with "SYTYCD" continues.

Sources confirm that Michaels is in New York this week and is sitting on the judging panel for season seven auditions Tuesday (Jan. 26).

Whether Michaels will return to the show as a choreographer is not clear, though fingers are crossed as she continues to be one of the series' most popular players.

Michaels, who spoke with Zap2it in December, is currently developing a handful of television projects, a book and a clothing line.
