'Pants on the Ground' on 'The View,' in Minnesota Vikings locker room

Did you think "Pants on the Ground" would go away over the weekend? Think again.

General Larry Platt stopped by "The View" Monday (Jan. 18) to give another performance of his now-famous song "Pants on the Ground."

Platt told Sherri Shepherd and Elisabeth Hasselbeck that he's just so happy to be out there and it makes him feel good knowing people want to get their pants up.

Platt's nephew Jason accompanied him to "The View" and told the ladies, "I'm just really proud of my uncle ... He's just been an inspiration to me." Platt happened to be on "The View" on Martin Luther King Day and the program showed a picture of Platt at an MLK rally event. Platt says he was a four-star general in the civil rights movement.



Meanwhile, "Pants on the Ground" came to the world of sports via Brett Favre and the Minnesota Vikings. After their win over the Dallas Cowboys on Jan. 17, they celebrated in the locker room with some "Pants on the Ground." Watch this video from YouTube below.
