Oprah Winfrey to interview Jay Leno

Oprah Winfrey will take the late-night discussion to daytime.The media mogul will feature Jay Leno on her talk show on Thursday, Jan. 28, reports the New York Times.
No doubt they'll have plenty to discuss, like NBC's timeslot experimentation, the ratings/affiliates, Conan O'Brien's payout and Leno's return to "The Tonight Show" on March 1.
For the one-on-one chat, Winfrey will get on a plane to Los Angeles to meet Leno. She's appeared on his show previously, so having him as her guest makes sense.

Of course this is being done during Conan's non-disparagement agreement so he can't refute anything that Jay might say.
I wonder why Jay would agree to this though. Wouldn't it be better to just let it all go and move on? What's the benefit of talking about it after its all over?
Why sit with this horrible woman, Jay won, Conan failed, end of story.
Who cares about Jay and Conan anyway, Craig Fergerson is better then either of those guys anyday!

anyone who says Craig Ferguson is better than Conan clearly never saw his Late Night. BTW Oprah is just obviously going to skew tjis all in Jay Leno's favour, Jay is obviously hoping to come out smelling like a rose. This planned show, this marketing NBC ploy, makes me sick.
I agree with the person who said Craig Ferguson is better than both of them. I do prefer Leno to Conan but Craig has made me laugh much more than either.

When I was younger (I'm in my 40's), I watched Johnny Carson with my dad and we had so many good laughs which I've sentimentally thought of many times since dad died. Then Leno came along, and while not as genuinely funny as Johnny at first, we began to really like him too. However Conan acts like someone trying to be funny but not knowing how, with the little deal of appearing to pull up his pants from each side and all his jumping around and shaking his hair. The only thing funny about Conan is that he looks like a red-headed baboon...or is that buffoon? Glad he's gone.
