Lionsgate gets 'Buried' at Sundance Film Festival

ryan-reynolds-buried.jpgThe first acquisition to come out of the 2010 Sundance Film Festival is Lionsgate's purchase of "Buried."

"Buried" is the Ryan Reynolds-man-buried-alive scary movie that debuted this past weekend at the Sundance Film Festival. Lionsgate paid just under $4 million for it, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Lionsgate has also made a mid to high-eight-figure Prints and Advertising commitment, with plans to release "Buried" sometime later this year.

Apparently the film is largely comprised of 90 minutes of Ryan Reynolds trying to break out of a coffin. If you'd like to see a preview, watch the trailer below. Or just go rewatch the "CSI" episodes "Grave Danger" parts I and II.

You can also check out the official "Buried" website at www.experienceburied.com.

Hope we can see this on theatres soon. i Looove ryan reynolds.

Is he naked in the coffin? No? Then I'll pass. It's all Reynolds has to offer.

That's just what I was thinking---watch CSI. That was the performance of George Eads' career.

Wow Evilwithin. Ryan is a high quality actor. Apparently your predilection for male naked bodies impacts your other brain.
