'Life Unexpected': Kerr Smith on Ryan vs. Baze

kerr-smith-life-unexpected-320.jpgA Ryan versus Baze brawl?

It could go down.

Though "Life Unexpected"'s Ryan (Kerr Smith) is currently unaware of the fact that his lovely fiancee Cate (Shiri Appleby) has once again slept with her Winter Formal one-night-stand/baby daddy Baze (Kris Polaha), he will eventually find out.

And when he does, will the two come to blows?

And could they ever be friends?

"Yeah, I mean, you know, after a few knuckle sandwiches, we might be able to," says Kerr Smith in the clip below.

According to Kerr, Ryan may be more understanding of Baze than one would expect: "I think it's kind of more of an annoying type of situation rather than a hateful one. I think there's a part of Ryan that is Baze. But he's just kind of moved on from high school. You know, his mentality's a little more than a 9-iron. They don't necessarily get along, but they don't hate each other either."

Hmm, kind of sounds like he wants to hurt him just a little, no?

What do you think, should Ryan and Baze beat each other up?

"Life Unexpected" airs Monday at 9 p.m. on The CW
