Kathy Griffin embarrasses Anderson Cooper again on New Year's Eve

Kathy Griffin does her thing, and people are shocked/scandalized/surprised? I can't stand the woman, but if CNN is stupid enough to pair her with one of their anchors, tough luck, babes. Maybe the idiots who schedule such things should read up on these people before letting them on the air. Then again, that would require actual effort, which doesn't seem to be a word that journalists know these days, even at CNN.

As for the idiotic last remark in this article, Kathy Griffin has as much to do with class as Rush Limbaugh does gay rights. Let's get real here, people.

Kathy is the best thing to have ever happened to CNN's NYE coverage. I was halfway round the world this year, yet I still tuned in just to watch. The chemistry between Anderson and her is just hilarious!

I love Kathy Griffin, and I actually watch CNN on New Years to see what kind of crazy antics she'll put on, but dropping the Eff Bomb? Meh. Not all that funny or creative. She was much funnier last year.

Since Kathy Griffin has been booked 3 years straight now to co-host New Years Eve with Anderson Cooper, it is telling that people enjoy watching the two of them "keeping it real" together. No one said she was classy, Aaron R. but she is very entertaining and the chemistry between them is hilarious. Also, you can tell that they are friends outside of the broadcast and he enjoys being the straight man to her comic. So simply turn the channel if you don't like it, it's your prerogative ... obviously, there is enough people out there who enjoy it for CNN to continue booking them together.

The show was painful to watch because of Kathy's performance. It wasn't so much what she said but that she had to be running her mouth the entire time and Anderson Cooper had to talk over her to get a word in. He was obviously uncomfortable with it. If CNN has her back next year, they need to work on not talking over each other. Sorry, just my opinion.

The only time I watch CNN is New Year's Eve with Kathy and Anderson - it's all in fun and I love that she can make Anderson "Andy" Giggle! It's all stupid fun just to make people like you all get all upset.

Kathy Griffin is an embarrassment to herself. I have hardly ever heard anything intelligent come out of her mouth. Usually her mouth is babbling faster than anyone can even comprehend anyway. The only time she actually shut up for a short period of time last night was when Anderson read a tweet from someone who said she was yakking too much and should give way to let Anderson speak more often. No, it was me but I was thinking the same thing. It’s beyond me as to why she is on any CNN show at all. I’m not sure what her talent is unless being a babbling idiot is now considered a talent. Maybe she has some picture of a CNN executive with a donkey or something. I wouldn’t have watched CNN at all except the other networks were time delayed by an extra hour in the time zone I am in. My New Year’s resolution is now to turn the channel even faster than I have in the past whenever Griffin is on the show.

Oh, come on. Griffin is hired to push the envelope. And thank God there is someone like her, someone who doesn't kowtow to some supposed corporate image. I love her. Granted, not every joke is a winner, but there are more belly laughs than clunkers.

CNN will continue to pair Kathy Griffin with Anderson Cooper for their NYE coverage as long as the ratings hold up -- controversy and inappropriates be damned.

There is so much more going on this world to be shocked and appalled about than a meaningless dropping of the f-bomb during NEW YEAR'S EVE coverage.

Let's get a grip, seriously.

Kathy Griffin is obnoxious, and, not funny at all.for CNN to have her paired with the genuine Anderson Cooper and make fun of CNN Heros is dispicable. Ratings or not, Anderson deserves a better partner.
