Kate Gosselin solo show in the works at TLC

Kate Gosselin will be back on TLC in the future. TLC just hasn't quite figured out how yet.We arrived at the cable channel's sessions at the Television Critics Association press tour Thursday (Jan. 14) expecting some kind of formal announcement about a new show featuring the "Jon & Kate Plus 8" star. There were several reports Wednesday that TLC had picked up a show in which Gosselin would try out different jobs -- sort of like "The Simple Life" but with a 30-something mother of eight rather than a single celebutante in her 20s.
Gosselin was spotted filming a segment for the show at a diner in North Carolina in December.
Instead, though, we got only a statement saying that some sort of project is in the works. "TLC is developing a new show with Kate, but we don't know yet what that's going to be," Steve Cheskin, TLC's head of programming, said Thursday. "When we do know, we'll be sure to tell everyone."
TLC had earlier announced plans to continue filming Kate and the Gosselin children, but the dueling lawsuits between TLC and Jon Gosselin -- who has refused to let crews continue filming the children -- put a stop to that.

Wow. How original. Take someone and put them in a different job every week. Call it "Watch Kate try not to break a nail". Maybe TLC should also try something along the lines of, oh, I dunno, maybe different fishermen catching crabs in the dead of winter...or lobsters off the Maine coast?
Oh, that's right...DISCOVERY has already done ALL of this. And I prefer Mike to Kate any day of the week! Be original TLC. And stop exploiting Kate and the kids.
Get real Kate. If you want some respect for being a good mom, go back to nursing 3 nights a week and just let ABC film you once a year to let us all see how the kids are doing? You know, REAL reality! Not the media-***** that you've become.
Ok, another TLC show that i wont give a crap about... Gotta wonder about the execs there... Why would they think that this lame half of a lame set of baby makers is interesting to watch? How about finding real talent or even just well adjusted people for once.

I would like to watch anything with Kate in it. She is the star out of that whole bunch and she deserves the spotlight. I for one will be watching anything she is a part of.
Hi, I'm Kate and I'll be your annoyer tonight. I have no talent but I will bore you to tears or death (whichever comes first) with my narcissistic babble. In the beginning, I was a poorish, lonelyer, (oh, the horror) MIDDLE child. But I got over that when i REALIZED I could trick some dumb Asian guy and dumber doctors into going along with my plan to have multiple sets (that's MORE than one set) of MULTIPLES (that's more than one, it's like a lot of $$$$ signs). And, the REST is History (or rather, that's what the viewers WISH!). Now I'm a divorced aging bimbo (my husband RAN away)and left me with 8 of those things that are tooooo young to be working according to some creeps who don't want me to be able to live in the manner to which my kids enabled me to be accustomed. I'm just worried that now that Tiger got found out, I won't be able to be one of his bimbos even though I have $7K worth of long crappy looking stuff covering up the short crappy looking stuff I used to have on my head and I'm (s)HOT. My ex ruined my chances of staying in my chosen career because he won't let those small $$$$ signs work any more. Oh Governor of PA, you'll have to start sending me $$$$ again, society pushed that medical procedure on me and I need help again to support me (I mean them).

I like Kate! I think she deserves any success she can attain while she is raising her family. It depends on what it is, but I would watch her. Why don't they do a "Kate plus Eight?" Jon can't pay his bills so why is he keeping the show off the air? Dumb!
